Thawban reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I would not love to have the world or anything in it in exchange for this verse: O my servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Verily, Allah forgives all sins, for he is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (39:53)

عن ثوبان قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
